Matthew Christopher Miller, or Matthew Mercer, was born on June 29, 1982, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, U.S. He has one brother, a musician named Dave Heatwave. His family moved to Los Angeles when he was young. He attended Agoura High School in California. He took some theater and improv training and began his career performing English walla and doing the voice for Japanese anime. His talent and hard work got him reputed clients such as Studiopolis, Viz Media, and Bang Zoom! Entertainment. He has voiced characters for anime, cartoons, and video games, apart from radio commercials.

Mercer has voiced some of the most iconic anime characters, including Jotaro Kujo of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” Trafalgar Law of “One Piece,” Hit of “Dragon Ball Super,” and was also the second voice of Yamato and Pain of “Naruto.” In the video game industry, he gave life to the voices of Leon S.
