Then, using your thumb, press a small indent into the ball and then place a chocolate kiss into the indent and continue to push the kiss down a little further. This should form the cookie around the base of the kiss.

Once that is done, let the no bake peanut butter kiss cookies sit and cool for a few minutes until they set up fully. Then, be sure to store them in an airtight container to keep them from drying out.

What a fun recipe for kids! Love!!!http://njbnotjustanotherblog.weebly.com/kamau-kafe~Inspiring the young to cook~

  2. Sue says:

How about using a small Reece's peanut butter cup instead of a kiss?

  3. Lori C says:

Would enjoy something less "hard" as a Hershey's Kiss. Any thoughts? Maybe a firm frosting?

  4. Cyd says:

The possibilities are endless with what you want to fill them with. A Rolo candy is a lot softer than a Hershey Kiss.

  5. Cyd says:

That sounds delicious. Rolo's are good in these cookies too. The options are endless!

  6. Yahaira Almonte-O'Brien says:

I don't like corn syrup, can I substitute it for something else?... maybe marshmallows... any suggestions?

  7. Cyd says:

We haven't tried marshmallows in this particular recipe. But here is a homemade corn syrup substitute you can try - http://eugeniekitchen.com/corn-syrup/

  8. Nicole Goyer says:

I made the peanut butter kiss cookies. What did I do wrong? They did not stick together. I had to eat them with a spoon

  9. Cyd says:

Hi Nicole. I have no idea what went wrong. You have to be sure to bring the brown sugar and corn syrup to a full boil. If you add too much cereal than listed in the recipe it could turn out dry. Sorry they didn't work for you. We have never had a problem with these cookies.

  10. Tyra says:

I sub corn syrup with brown rice syrup. It is a bit less sweet but with the brown sugar in this it would be sweet enough

  11. Trenna says:

Mine did the same thing as Nicole's, I put 3 cups of cereal like the recipe called for. I did exactly how the recipe said :(

  12. Candace Byszewski says:

I did the same thing as Trenna and Nicole. Nothing is sticking together. I even made more peanut butter mixture and it's still not sticking together, it's a hot mess. Not sure what I did wrong.

  13. Nancee says:

This recipe is a real hit!! Great tasting and easy to prepare!

  14. Teresa White says:

I made this recipe as part of our Christmas goodies. I must say it is delicious I didn't have the same problem with sticky if anything it was a little dry. I only got about 18 cookies but it was delicious and I'm going to use the leftover crumble to make some kind of bark with chocolate. Thank you it's a good idea!

  15. Micky says:

I had the same problem where it wasn’t staying together. I mixed in more penut butter (JUST orbit butter, NOT the peanut butter mixture) and it helped form up the mixture so I could form the cookie shape. Hope this helps!

  16. Micky says:

peanut butter* not orbit butter, oops.

  17. Karen says:

Made these today and they turned out perfect. I actually got 28 out of my batch.

  18. Emmy says:

I used dark brown sugar, and the recipe came out just fine. Very tasty. The cookie didn’t stay very compact, but did stay together. Love it!

  19. Kayla says:

Such a fun recipe to make with my toddler, and so delicious! I got 35 cookies and it came out perfectly.

  20. Middle school teacher says:

Instead of using the stovetop, can we use the microwave? We are teaching a virtual cooking class for middle schoolers and are trying to avoid using stove tops or ovens for safety reason. We would love to try to make these, but wondering if microwaving would work? Also, do you recommend any other recipes of yours that would fall under these categories for our middle schoolers? They LOVE to cook and it’s nice to be able to teach that virtually. Especially with a lot of their parents working...our students are home alone & would be nice for them to have recipes that are safe for them.

  21. Momma Cyd says:

You just need to bring the corn syrup and brown sugar to a full boil. I would practice one batch first just to be sure it goes off without a hitch. We have only made this recipe on the stove top. But I think it could be adapted to the microwave. Just watch it closely. These microwave caramels are delicious - https://www.sixsistersstuff.com/recipe/homemade-microwave-caramels-recipe/Also check out this link of 21 recipes for the microwave - https://www.sixsistersstuff.com/recipe/21-recipes-you-can-make-in-a-microwave/And a big THANKS for all you do teaching our kids through this difficult time!

  22. Darlene says:

Looks delicious! Can you substitute something else for the corn syrup?

  23. Vicky says:

Very tasty! Crispy and chewy together, follow the recipe directions and they are faultless

  24. Rachael says:

These are sooooo good! I want to make them again but (hard to believe) Walmart had zero Rice Krispies a few days before Christmas. I want to take them on our long day of driving. Dangit. I’m going to try them with cheerios. 😬😬 Think they’ll turn out??

  25. Becky Champlin says:

This recipe is quick, easy, and so delicious! I made 2 batches in about 45 minutes! I had to hide them from my husband or, they won’t make it to the cookie trays! 5 stars!

No Bake Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies Recipe (11)

  26. cathy says:

These turned out perfect, used dark chocolate for the kisses, and its a good vegan cookie!

  27. Donna Mann says:

I loved this recipe. Very easy. The secret of them sticking together is being sure to boil the brown sugar and corn syrup together. Turned our perfect. Ended up with about 40.

No Bake Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies Recipe (12)

  28. Amy says:

    Can you freeze these cookies?

  29. Momma Cyd says:

Yes, these cookies will freeze great in an airtight container or freezer bag.

  30. Cara says:

My Mom made these cookies for us without the kisses, and using Special K for years. Adding the chocolate is great! About the brown sugar: Is that a packed brown sugar measurement, or just regular loose?

No Bake Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies Recipe (13)

  31. Momma Cyd says:

    It's packed.

  32. Sandra Brandt says:

Can I freeze these cookies, if so how long would you recommend.

  33. Momma Cyd says:

They will freezer great in an airtight freezer container or freezer bag for easily a month.
