The worst embassy I've ever encountered in Dubai during my 17-year tenure. They're not worth even one-star punctuality, irresponsible staff, failure to guide information through staff, and a poor system. They don't even take into account the 34-week pregnant woman who had a flight the next day and was requested to return before the flight. Their phones are unresponsive, online appointment bookings are always full, and there is no response. I feel sorry for their OFW members, who I've witnessed cause frustration.

What is wrong with the Phil DUbai Consulate website and contact numbers? Online appointment for contract verification is full pack even till 2024! We just want to go for vacation peacefully and I think all of us Dubai OFW DESERVE a good service!

Worst place ever, staff are very incapable, rules and procedures are silly and irrational, they live in the stone age still, if u want to go to Philippines for tourism, your gonna lose your ticket/flight / schedule because of their consulate, better go to Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, or some similar place, its much easier

The security (foreigner) at the gate is very lude. When we talked to him, he was using a phone and didn't listen to us.
But the Filipino staff at the counter is very kind and nice man.

I have visited the counslate a few times now and today for some reason I saw all the staff being polite and nice for a change and the rude ones I encountered before are gone which is a good sign.
Now I would like to share a honest feedback which hopefully the heads can consider to fix in future. We were there for attestation of the affidavit of support. After you have already verified all the documents online and after we came all the way to you and submitted the printed documents, I don't understand why do you ask to print a second copy (which is not mentioned on the website) of everything at the counter. I am guessing this to make money with your photocopy counter within your premises. Please try to get out of this mindset while the world is become digitalized specially after covid. You are only causing wastage of paper, waste of time and causing hassle to you citizens on top of all the other hassle which is causing due to the various process that has not changed for decades.

If it has 0 start i would rate this one 0, this is the worst consulate ever, my flight got cancelled today, i already told them i rebooked it for the next day, she asked me to come back the next day, seriously? Its only contract verification! There are people who got in even the flight is 2 days before! Very UNPROFESSIONAL most people who work there are disrespectful also, stop bringing your toxic filipino attitude here in UAE!

If I can give negative I'll definitely give, my sister have complete documents when she need to verify her contract but still they reject.you people asking unnecessary documents and requirements which is not posted, and staff only answer we don't care if your ticket is expensive.post a complete requirements and you people have the right to reject applicant if it's incomplete.one staff have different requirements and others is different.you accept document according to your mood or if you want the person?

My son was having eczema flare up and during his passport renewal appointment on Jan. 14,2022, he was denied for the picture taking because of the rashes on his face, but there was Mr. Carlo of encoding section who was really kind and approachable. He just asked us to come back once the flare up subsides, then luckily today when we went there, Mr. Carlo was around and assisted us on what we have to do for recapturing the photo.
I highly commend the security staffs for being helpful too and of course Ms. Joan and Mr. Carlo of encoding section for all the help, Assistance and kind gestures.

It's been almost 2 yrs since i last visited the Consulate. They have changed the setup and i like it. Since they have this 'no appointment no entry' policy, the processing is fast and no long queues. Nice.

I never rant on public but I think this has to be heard. Please consider OFWs here that cannot get out from work easily. Why don't you put in the website that Notary window closes at 1: 30PM? I reached the consulate at 1: 33PM and I couldn't proceed with my application. Now, that I am trying to book, even 2 weeks have gone, it is still not booking an appointment. Why? It makes me so upset. Why is it so difficult to reach them and so much unnecessary requirements and time spent. It seems like forever to get my daughter's passport which us only took us only half a day to get it in my husband's embassy!

* We been calling several times but the number stated on their websites are totally useless. What are the use of those number/watsapp number if there is no one can pick up the calls.
* Should have someone else at the counter for something to inquire about. All inquiry only answered by security personnel at the gate.
* Appointment booking is so much frustrating because it always shows “no services or classes are available at this time”.

The worst thing is that we have to put up with the disappointments because we don't have a choice. We will always have to do to PCG. A what-to-do kind of state. Upsetting

Passport encoding area staffs were so RUDE, UNAPPROACHABLE and ARROGANT!
Disrespecting and shaming a person with foul words. I hope people in higher government position can read our reviews so that they are aware what kind of staff they have here. They don't deserve even one star!

Why can't you make passport renewal fast.
If people have emergency and needed to go back home. Thy need to wait more than. 8 weeks for new passport. We are paying 700 but still we need to wait long time for tht.
And all this appointment to go in. Other embassy is not. Even like this. U can go openly.
India has more papulation but thy do passport process just for. Few day.s not even a week‍️‍️

I always had bad experience visiting be it the consulate or the embassy. They're always seems to be rude. And for whatever reason that is, I think it'll never end.

Could you please be specific in posting all the necessary requirements in POLO Dubai website. I've been there and they did not verify my MOL contract because I am under husband visa. They are assuming that the contract I have is only a mutual agreement between myself and the company. They will only verify a contract under company sponsorship. How can they make that assumption and denied verifying my contract if I have a valid employment and labor contract issued and registered in the Ministry of Dubai/UAE. If that's your policy, you must have a detailed requirements posted in your website. "Dependent visa not qualified-eventhough you have a labor contract". It's really a waste of time to head there, take leave from work after securing an appointment and end up being denied after 2 hours of queue. Please update your website. This is our only chance where we can refer/give answer to our questions since people in your office doesn't know how to answer people queries in any contact details provided.

For 3 days I have been trying to get an appointment online but their system is always down “no service or class available this time” thats whats keep on popping out from the screen. Why is it so hard to get an appointment its so upsetting! Been calling multiple times as well on their office landline but no one is answering. ‍️‍️‍️ Very poor system and management! Poor OFW we cant have good service either from our own fellow kabayan working in Philippine Consulate Dubai.

Poor Service. A lot of requirements they need for getting Affidavit of support even that how many times the relatives have been in Dubai. They concept is to always need to comeback again in again to consulate. Stressful for the OFW that no time for come back. Hotel booking is not necessary need if you want to get affidavit of support because she have a family her. Why they need to that? Poorer than poorer workers.

Not only once it happened. Their contact number is useless. You'll have to spend a lot of days trying to call before somebody picks up. Whatsapp barely replies and gives blunt answers to your concerns. Email response takes forever. You will feel hopeless if you are in any trouble or urgency and needs their help. They have to be more considerate for people in abroad most especially since our sources are limited unlike in the philippines. We can only rely to our own embassy and its really hard to reach the people in the office unless you are in a life and death situation.

For 3 days consecutive I've been trying to book an appointment for the renewal of my passport. But as always, no available time slot. How can you help your fellow Kababayans in this situation? Please upgrade your website and also answer our calls to know atleast our concerns and inqueries. What is the use of the contact numbers provided if no one is taking the calls? I think its better send mail to DFA directly to inform the government about this.

Have someone at the gate who is actually part of the mission of the consulate. This can give some degree of reassurance to citizens that they’re actually being heard, do not refuse to talk to citizens. Reduce the red tape and bureaucracy. Modernize your website, give timely feedback and sort out your appointment system. It’s frustrating to be a Filipino in this consulate.

Very disappointing!
I was having renewal and suddenly they told me that i having problem with my passport they call LOL and they ask me to provide documents and i provide as a proof. What i hate was they told to wait for their call or message me as they will wait for DFA reply what is the next step to be done but unfortunately suddenly they change their words as i am waiting and keep sending message to their wattsapps provided after so many message at last the replied with lies!

Now I understand why it’s rated so low. Condescending staff at the visa counter, not customer friendly.
You have to be either dead or attending a funeral to accelerate a visa request. If you express your views and complain about their process, you will have to sign an apology letter, else you get escorted by a security guard out of their building.

Especially the guy in counter 1 in visa section, if there is god I pray that he burn in hell, he don't get to see his family ever. No manners of talking, ignorant, arrogant.not even reading the documents and rejecting.if these kind of people r the ones representing their country in front of the world, I assume it is better not to visit.

Disappointed with the service I apply for report of birth and they charge for 200 aed then you have to do all the encoding and tons of photo copy.at the end once you received back the report of birth they will tell you after 3 months you can request for the ctc of report of birth which is you have to pay again my question is i pay 200 aed for what? Very rude staff

I went for passport renewal.some oldies staff are quite masungit considering that most of us are confused about what to fill up and where to go next, but its okay.i'm giving 4* kasi sobrang accomodating yung mga staff sa comelec section encoding, lagi pa nakasmile.

Can anyone explain why Philippine consulate is closed during Fridays here in UAE? What in the world are these guys doing here? We are aware that normal working days in the Philippines is from Monday to Friday.
Please, understand that most of us here are having only 1 day off and we don't always have the privilege to adjust with your timings if we need service, assistance or help.

Can you please make the entrance hall any smaller? Because we have tooo much space to be seated.

I came in with my wife for passport renewal. They don’t let me in beyond gates because “no escorts allowed only applicants” so no option for me but to wait in the small room with the small ac and many more poor “escorts” waiting their “applicants” inside.

What is the use of having contact numbers when no one is picking up the phone. I try to call all the number written in the website as well as the numbers mentioned in the customer service but its totally useless! NO ONE IS PICKING UP THE PHONE!

We went to phil consulate for stamp only at 3pm but their telling that they are close already, we travel for 1hour knowing that we still have time coz as we know it close at 5pm but they close at 3pm without reason or events. I heard from other Filipinos that they usually close early than timing l, then better change your timing

The staffs inside the Consulate are very unprofessional, not accomodating and will answer you in a sarcastic way. And they don't smile. Very disappointing experience to think that they are your countrymen.

Worst government office in Dubai. In my 6 yrs here, they only answered calls once or twice in probably hundreds of times that I called. Never answered emails. Never answered FB messages. The staffs act as if you owe them something.

I have dialed the contact number many times NOBODY answer, its useless. Location is too far as well.i send an email for the passport appointment of our staff since there is misunderstanding with her appointment, they instructed our staff to send an email to request to accommodate her on that day, unfortunately they only reply after 2 days.sorry to say but the transaction in the Philippines and here in Dubai is just the same.be responsive to CALLS and EMAILS.very poor service

Some staff are CONDESCENDING, no respect to their countrymen.they are civil SERVANTS, they are supposed to provide SERVICE with COURTESY and RESPECT! They are more friendly, courteous and respectful to other nationalities rather than their fellow countrymen who pay their salary through taxes!

The staff are so kind and professional especially the lady at the visa counter and the security
But the consulate very busy so you should go early morning before 8: 30 am to complete your issues
The consulate needs to add more advertisem*nts pictures for philipine, it deserves that
